Salon & Spa Policies
Your visit to Bocci is about your well-being. It’s a chance to relax and step away from day-to-day responsibilities. With that in mind:
Children
Children are welcome if they are scheduled for services. If not, please leave them at home so all guests can enjoy a quiet, relaxing experience.
Cell phones
Please silence your phone for the entirety of your visit.
Reservations
Please reserve in advance by calling the number above. For spa services, arrive 10–15 minutes early to change and relax before your treatment.
Booking and Deposits
Deposits

Online bookings: A deposit is required to reserve your appointment. It will be applied to your services on the day of your visit.

Phone bookings: Deposits are generally not required. Some services may still require a deposit when booked by phone. Our team will let you know at scheduling.

Using a gift card for the deposit: Please call the salon to process this.

Non-transferable: Deposits are tied to the client account and are not transferable.
Changes and Cancellations

24+ hours’ notice: Your deposit will be credited to your Bocci in-house account and can be used at a future visit. If you prefer the credit returned to your original card, call us to process it.

Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: The deposit is forfeited.

You can cancel or reschedule via our automated system or by calling the salon.
We understand that sometimes plans change. Cancellations and no-shows leave gaps we cannot fill without timely notice and reduce availability for other clients.
Late Arrivals
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to modify or reschedule your services to respect other clients’ time.
Reminders
Text and email reminders are a courtesy. You are responsible for keeping your appointment time.
Extraordinary Circumstances
Emergencies happen. Please call us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
Special Appointments
Some multi-hour services, corrective color, keratin or smoothing treatments, or group bookings may require a higher deposit and up to 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel. We will tell you at the time of booking if this applies.
Gratuities
Tipping is at your discretion. Gift cards do not include gratuity.
We are unable to add gratuity to any credit card transaction.
Product Returns

Salon hair products may be returned within 30 days for store credit or exchange only.

Salon tools, cosmetics, and skin care are final sale.

Wigs and hairpieces are final sale.
Helpful Hints
When booking, please let us know about any medical conditions such as high blood pressure, allergies, disabilities, or pregnancy. Massage guests complete a brief health questionnaire at their first visit.
We may postpone any service if a guest has a contagious condition, for example warts, ringworm, cold sores, lice, or nail fungus.
Your comfort matters. Tell us if you need the room temperature or massage pressure adjusted.
Gift Cards
Bocci gift cards are available in any amount, in person or on our website. Gift cards are non-refundable and do not include gratuity. Bocci is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payments
Effective November 1, 2025: a 3% fee applies to credit card payments. Debit cards and cash have no fee.
Other Terms
Deposits are not redeemable for cash.
Policies may change at any time. All terms apply except where prohibited by law. Michigan law governs.
