Susan is a Registered Nurse and is nationally certified in Botox administration and Dermal Fillers. She has been doing injections for over 13 years and is an Advanced Injection Specialist. Susan also owns a training company, where she teaches physicians and nurses how to perform these procedures. Susan specializes in only Botox and Dermal Fillers; therefore, she is extremely experienced in making sure our clients receive their optimal results. There is absolutely no cost for a consultation.
What is Botox/Dysport Cosmetics? It is a purified protein administered in a simple, non-surgical procedure that dramatically improves the appearance of wrinkles in the upper third of the face. Botox/Dysport is currently the #1 non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the United States.
How safe is it? Botox/Dysport is a purified protein and contains NO LIVE BACTERIA. Botox has been used therapeutically for over 15 years to treat a variety of medical conditions. It is approved in more than 75 countries. The FDA approved Botox for cosmetic use in 2002 and there has NOT BEEN ONE report of any serious reaction. Dysport has only recently been approved by the FDA, but has been used in over 34 countries for several years and there also have not been any serious reactions.
Does it hurt? Most patients compare the sensation to a bug bite. Icing can be used to numb the area and eliminate most discomfort.
When do you see results and how long does it last? Initial results may appear within days, with optimal effect noted within 8 days. Botox Cosmetics lasts approximately 4 – 6 months. Dysport Cosmetics last approximately 5 – 7 months.

What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are substances that are injected below the surface of the skin temporarily adding, volume, thereby filling lines, wrinkles and folds from the inside out.
Does it hurt? To minimize any discomfort two topical anesthetics are applied and 2% lidocaine is added to the fillers. A lidocaine block can also be done, if needed, at no additional cost.
Is it safe? Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane are made of naturally occurring substances already found in the body. Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane are hyaluronic acids and a natural sugar found in all living cells that attracts and binds water, hydrating your skin and giving it volume.
When do you see results and how long does it last? Results are immediate. Restylane and Juvederm lasts approximately 6 – 8 months. Perlane lasts approximately 9 – 12 months.
